Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

Mack’s Lure Day 2

What a day it was. A beautiful Saturday morning on the water with some very active fish. Today we had Bob with Mack's Lures and Tony K. on the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled. It proved to be a very active day with not mush at the end of the day to show for it. We managed to go 1 for 4 in the morning. Lost a couple at the boat and broke a nice fish off.  We dropped Bob and Tony off at the dock at 10 am as they had other plans they had to attend to. Miles and I continued to fish. We went to what we call the 300 area and managed to hook into a double, and yep you know if lost them both!! It was a day of a lot of action but not bunch cleaning. Still had a great time and look forward to the next time. Bent Rods [...]

Mack’s Lures Evening Run

Got a call from Bob with Mack's Lures. They got some new salmon gear on the market and they got some other goodies hitting the market in a month or so. I had the opportunity to fish these goodies. Although we did not hook up on the new gear we did hook up on some nice Chinook salmon. The new Mack's products coming out are going to be a game changer in some of the fisheries! Keep you eyes open for these new product releases. You can go grab some of the new Salmon Tech spinners now, they are available at macksluers.com. Be sure to get on the water and get you some of these great Columbia River Chinooks! Bent Rods and tight Lines!

Sept 4th Evening Salmon trip

Go to get on the Columbia this evening for a couple hours with Miles and Kevin. We managed to bonk a couple nice Chinook and had a ton of fun. The fish counts are getting better with 3095 fish over McNary yesterday. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew is looking forward to this season. So far it has produced some nice fish the last few trips out. Have not managed limits yet but fun and fish! Bent Rods and Tight Lined my friends!.

September 3rd Fall Salmon

It was another good early day on the Columbia River chasing Fall Chinook Salmon. With the numbers starting to get better coming over the dams the fish are staring to show up and there are a few to be found. We managed a couple nice fish today with a couple others getting away. Angel landed her fist Chinook from start to finish, we are looking forward to this season. Still a few seats open if you are interested in getting in on some of this action. Bent Rods and Tight Lines my friends!!

The Start of Fall Slamon

Well it is that time once again the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew starts chasing fall Chinook Salmon in the Hanford Reach. We had a chance to get out on the water Sunday evening for a couple hours and managed to put this big hen in the Les Schwab boat. With Miles and Angel on the boat today the rod went off Angel tackled this big girl getting her all the way to the boat, when the fish went for another 200 foot run and she passed the rod off to me. Miles put a great net job on this bruiser and we boated the first Chinook for the season. Back out in the AM to see if we can do it again!! Bent Rods and Tight Lines!!

Night Walleye 8/22

It was another night on the Columbia River for Mile and I in search of some monster night feeding walleye. The night did not disappoint with the actions starting will 11 Small Mouth Bass keeping us entertained while we look for the walleye. We managed to run across a couple nice walleye that we snapped some pictures of and then released to catch another day and grow into the next state record!!

Walleye Night Bite!!

The Fishers Catch Outfitters team headed out to get on some Night Time Walleye bites! The bite proved to be a little slower than expected but the fish we landed were some nice eyes. We got several nice walleye and released most of them.If you are looking for a fun trip and an evening bite then now is your chance 1/2 day night walleye runs available.

August 14th walleye

The day proved to be a good day to fish for the great Columbia River walleye. It was a hot day bu we managed to find some quality fish for the clients. It was a day of cranks and jigs. With most of the fish being landed on jigs we found a couple big fish letting them swim to see another day and found some nice fish to send home with them. It was a day of fun on the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled! It is still proving to be a success so get in your walleye fishing before the salmon show up!

Hells Canyon Weekend

The Fishers Catch Outfitters headed to Hells Canyon to have a little Snake River fun with some buddies. We started the trip watch some brave men and women of the fire department fight a fire that started from a cabin going up. Great job fire department it was hot and you prevailed!!  With the weather hot in Tri-Cites we decided to go where it was a little hotter. The Hells Canyon Sturgeon, well at least the big ones did not want to play. We did manage to catch a couple small ones on the big Bloodsworth Boat. The bass were ready to play and Miles had a great time giving them a little exercise! It was a great relaxing weekend and now back to Walleye fishing on the Big Mighty Columbia. Enjoy some great pictures of the trip.
