Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

June 12th Walleye

Another great day on the water for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team catching some Columbia River Walleye! We had Steve and Lorie on the Les Schwab boat this morning. With only a half day to stack on as many quality walleye as we could we managed to put 16 in the box. With a few getting away and ready to play another day. We hit the water 5:30 am and were back tot he dock at 11:am. What a fun time with these two!!

June 8th Shad Fishing

Whit the Shad still running well on the Columbia Fishers Catch Outfitters and Atomic Anglers head out to get some oversize Sturgeon bait stock. With a couple hour evening run after work it proved to be productive with 43 shad landed and many more not brought all the way to the boat. The evening was action packed with no time to even relax. Miles was one busy guy reeling in all these Shad.

June Shad

With the Shad beginning to run on the Columbia river and  570,026 already over the Bonneville dam it was time to start collecting some Sturgeon bait for this up coming oversize fishing season. With a couple hour trip after work we managed to get 20 shad to attack our gear and watch the beautiful sun set fall on the night. It is only going to pick up and be more fun. If you are interested in the fun fishery give us a call at Fishers Catch Outfitters. Bent Rods Tight Lines and Happy Fishing All!

June 2nd / June Walleye!

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew spent another day on the Columbia River chasing the great Columbia River walleye. With Just the captain and the two best deckhands a captain could have, we went out for a fun day of fishing and searching some new areas. The day produced some great walleye and a whole lot of fun!!

June Walleye June 1st

With the month of June kicking in the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew got on some nice Columbia river Walleye! We spent the first day of June chasing walleye and were not disappointing with the days outcome. Had some great people Brian and Steve on the Fishers Catch Outfitters  / Les Schwab boat. The walleye wanted to play and the big ones showed up. Steve got to CPR a nice 33 inch 11 pound Columbia River Walleye.

Walleye Monday May 28th

Went out on the Columbia and tried some new water. It was a little breezy but we managed to boat 7 nice walleye fishing shallow. These fish were fun to catch. With the shallow, warm water the fish put up a great fight. All the fish were in the 20 + inch range with the smallest going 20" even. Though the numbers were not huge the fishing was great! Bent Rods and Tight Lines!!

May 18-19 Snake River Springers

What a great weekend chasing Springers with buddies on the Snake River. We took the weekend off from chasing walleye on the big Columbia to Chase Springers on the Snake. It produced well as we got into some nice high flying and fighting Springers.  Friday produced well with 4 nice keepers out of the seven rips we got. Saturday was another great day. We started the day with an awesome fighting wilder!! Then hooked up with some other sleds and put the HOG LINE to work. With the Hog Line in action 4 nice fish were boated with a couple other wilder's and a couple rips for big no goes!! All in all a great weekend of fishing and camping out on the sleds!

5.09 Walleye with the Ferguson Group

What a beautiful day for fishing. The weather conditions were nice for being out on the water, but not the best for great walleye fishing. The water conditions proved to be a little challenging as well. With the dams wide open and and Priest running 220k it was fast, dirty and 51 degrees. With a little blessing from the author of our story we had a fabulous day on the Columbia River. The group put 25 walleye to the boat, 9 bass and got to bend the 6'6" walleye jigging rod on a sturgeon (we did not land the sturg) . We look forward to fishing with Ryan, Michael, Dan and Rich aging in the near future!

May 5th Turkey Saturday

With the 2018 Turkey season in full swing, Miles and I put the fishing rods down for a few days and grabbed out thunder sticks and hit the fields in search of a long beard jelly head. With he spring rain not helping the first couple hunts we went on we finally got into a nice bird that would play a little.  This guy had 9 1/4 inch beard weighed in at 20 lbs and nice hooks going and inch. We are back on the water tomorrow chasing walleye and then back to the field for one more nice long beard.
