Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

The Walleye went Bananas Today

Fishers Catch Outfitters crew found some great Walleye today on the Columbia River. We set out from the dock at 7 am with O'brien crew and Jesse from Montana, the Big Sky Country. This was a special day for many reasons, and the Lord blessed it in may ways. We started the day of with Walleye Wilke bending the rod on a nice 32" - 13 lb 15 oz big female Columbia River Walleye, the big fish to the boat. With a little CPR we quickly released her to go do he duty and spawn. The day did not stop there. The weather was good and the water was 37.7 degrees. I thought it would be good to get 10-12 walleye to the Les Schwab boat today but we were blessed beyond that with a total fish count of 30 Walleye. Not including Miles landing a nice small mouth and a big pike minnow  today [...]

Windy Saturday February 24th

With the weather windy and a cold front moving in, we took this opportunity to get out on the Big-C down by Umatilla. That waters were glass in the morning but by 11:00 am it was no longer the case. With the wind kicking up and 4-6' rollers breading we decide to get off the water, but not before putting a few nice keeper eyes on the Les Schwab boat!

Boggs Family Outing

It was a cold start to the day with the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab boat. We headed out early to try and beat the wind and get some Walleye in the boat. With the cold weather setting in it proved to be more than the little Ray-Ray could stand. With cold toes, fingers and well the rest of his body we called it an early day. With  getting out to fish for and hour and a half Jon put the rod bend to a few eyes. All in all a good day and they got to stink up some grease when they got home! 02.11.18

Feb 1st, 2018 Got to spend the day on the Columbia River with the Hubbard Ag Science crew fishing Sturgeon and Walleye. James, Jake, Kari and Amber proved they could handle the big Columbia River White Sturgeon!. With none of them ever catching one of these awesome fish, they all shared the opportunity as a team to bring a big one up form the depths to the side of The Les Schwab boat for a photo! It was epic to see the smiles and excitement when it emerged from the 50 feet of water!!. The team also spent the afternoon fish for some of the great Columbia River Gold!! With the ladies going 2 fish to 1 on the guys we put some gold in the box before calling it a day. Lost of fun and smiles today, not to mention the radio station was killing it!! January 29th Walleye

It proved to be another productive day of Walleye fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. The Les Schwab boat was sitting on top of some fish, with the Chocolate Chip Cookie jig from Ken we managed to bring a few nice Walleye to the boat. With as many missed as caught we had a blast. Also had the opportunity to let a big female swim.  The fishing is good and only going to get batter. Book your trip today.

Foggy Day January 28th

It was a day of fishing in the fog for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team. Although the fog set in for the better part of the day it did not stop The Les Schwab boat from making its way down the river to catch some great Columbia River Walleye. The father and daughter team on the boat today managed to boat 6 nice eaters, we let one big mamma fish swim and missed several others.  It was a productive and awesome day. Stay safe, Bent Rods and Tight Lines!

January 21st Walleye Sunday

With the Tri-Cities weather blowing and raining, the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and Chris Mosher decided to go chase some local Columbia River Walleye. We had a awesome morning before getting blown off the water. The fish wanted to play and they were all the notorious Columbia River Big Walleye. We only took two nice eaters home but exercised several nice females to the boat, and sent them back to do their work. Now is the time to get a chance at catching some of these big pre-spawn  Walleye. Give us a call if you want to get on the water catching some great Walleye 509.727.7137.
