Hubbard Ag Science Crew

Feb 1st, 2018 Got to spend the day on the Columbia River with the Hubbard Ag Science crew fishing Sturgeon and Walleye. James, Jake, Kari and Amber proved they could handle the big Columbia River White Sturgeon!. With none of them ever catching one of these awesome fish, they all shared the opportunity as a team to bring a big one up form the depths to the side of The Les Schwab boat for a photo! It was epic to see the smiles and excitement when it emerged from the 50 feet of water!!. The team also spent the afternoon fish for some of the great Columbia River Gold!! With the ladies going 2 fish to 1 on the guys we put some gold in the box before calling it a day. Lost of fun and smiles today, not to mention the radio station was killing it!! Bent Rods & Tight Lines.

January 29th Walleye

It proved to be another productive day of Walleye fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. The Les Schwab boat was sitting on top of some fish, with the Chocolate Chip Cookie jig from Ken we managed to bring a few nice Walleye to the boat. With as many missed as caught we had a blast. Also had the opportunity to let a big female swim.  The fishing is good and only going to get batter. Book your trip today.

Foggy Day January 28th

It was a day of fishing in the fog for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team. Although the fog set in for the better part of the day it did not stop The Les Schwab boat from making its way down the river to catch some great Columbia River Walleye. The father and daughter team on the boat today managed to boat 6 nice eaters, we let one big mamma fish swim and missed several others.  It was a productive and awesome day. Stay safe, Bent Rods and Tight Lines!

January 21st Walleye Sunday

With the Tri-Cities weather blowing and raining, the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and Chris Mosher decided to go chase some local Columbia River Walleye. We had a awesome morning before getting blown off the water. The fish wanted to play and they were all the notorious Columbia River Big Walleye. We only took two nice eaters home but exercised several nice females to the boat, and sent them back to do their work. Now is the time to get a chance at catching some of these big pre-spawn  Walleye. Give us a call if you want to get on the water catching some great Walleye 509.727.7137. This is a picture of one of the big bellied girls that were released to go do her thing! Bent Rods and Tight Lines,

January 20th Sturgeon Trip

It was another great day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew on the big Columbia River Sturgeon fishing. We got a total of 4 fish to the Les Schwab boat with all of them being over or under the slot limit. We started the day off with a big white sturgeon that was over 9 feet in length, then boated a 38" , 40" and 59" Sturgeon. Even though we did not get the keeper we were looking for we did find a nice pool of smaller fish and lots of additional bites. The season is still open for retention season as the fishing has been tough in the John Day pool and the quota has not been met. So if you are looking for a day of fun and a possibility of taking one of these great fish home book your trip today 509.727.7137. Bent rods and Tight Lines,

January 13, 2018 Sturgeon Trip

It was another beautiful day on the Big Columbia River chasing River Monsters. Fishers Catch Outfitters spent another day on the water with great people doing what we love. We love to see the smiles these awesome fish generate on the face of the people catching them. It was a successful day on the water building memories that will last a life time! Casey with his first ever Big Columbia River White Sturgeon!!

January 10th 2018 Sturgeon Trip

It was a beautiful day on the Columbia River today. The Fishers Catch Outfitters boat hit the water at 7 am on a Sturgeon Excursion, we set out on a quest for one of the 43"-54" keep slot fish. The day produced a 38", 6'4" and a 5'7" Columbia River White Sturgeon. All though we did not find the keeper we were looking for we did get one of the anglers their first Sturgeon ever!! It is the tug that is the drug with these fish. I think there are 3 new addicted sturgeon fishermen born today!

January 6th sturgeon Fishing

We had another great day on the water today. The weather was amazing on the Columbia River. We got out early looking for keeper sturgeon, with the day showing it was going to be a slow one, and the bites very soft. Joe hooked into his first ever Columbia River Sturgeon and landed a nice 7 foot 2 inch monster. The look on Joe's face when fighting this fish was priceless, the whole reason Fishers Catch Outfitters does what we do. We love to build new friendships and be a part of the awesome experience people have catching these awesome fish.
