Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

Fun Nook Saturday! 10/6

With the wind settling in on Saturday the CCA Legends of the Fall trip was canceled due to safety!. That did not Stop FCO and Atomic Anglers Chris Tannahill from hooking up and setting some hooks to the Nooks. We busted 3 nice nooks before 8:30 am and got off the water before the wind got BAD!!

Back on Salmon Thursday!! 10/5

CED and FCO strike again. With a day of Salmon fishing instead of working (for some) we got into our share of Columbia River Fall Nooks. With a few getting off the hooks we managed to put 4 nice nooks in the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab sled! Lance brought plenty of food to get through the day!!! If he wasn't on a reel reeling fish he was in the cooler getting something to eat! What a great crew lots of fun. We will see what October 13th brings as the other CED crew takes to the water!!

Walleye Wednesday! 10/4

Walleye Wednesday started with a call from one of my clients, Myron " do you have any walleye openings? I am not interested in catching any of them dark red slimy salmon"! LOL. With the day perfect for catching some great Columbia River Gold Myron, Arth and Rich loaded up for a day of Walleye fishing! We set out on the FCO/ Les Schwab sled  in search of out boat limit of 10 per person and we ended up back at the dock early with our limit of 10 per person. Great company, great fishing, and great eating!!

October Walleye 10/3

With a late cancelation and an open boat, half of the "Old Farts" crew booked for a Walleye Tuesday! With the water, wind and temps right we went after them. What else is there to do on a Tuesday with and open boat, catch fish. With Norm and Kent showing up at the launch early we had a great day on the water catching eyes. We even managed to pick up a double or two. The walleye fishing has been good, and once salmon season is done the FCO Fishers Catch Outfitters crew will be back on them!

October 2nd and Nooks!

What a fun Monday chasing the Columbia River Fall Chinook Salmon.  Mondays crew goes to show that even the "Old Farts" as Dennis would say can catch fish. Our big fish of the day came in at 44' inches long and over 30 lbs. This fish was half in length of Jimmy's age, Jimmy at the young age of 88 put a hurting to this big toad! We had a great time and I guess the Banana myth has officially been debunked on the FCO/Les Schwab sled!! October and Fall Nooks in Tri nothing Better!!

Richland To Ringold Sept 25th

Got to spend the day on the water with the Vandever family fishing for the elusive Columbia River Fall Salmon. Starting in the Bateman Island area and working our way up to Ringold we managed to scratch out a couple fish. Even with the fishing being slow this crew was a fun crew to spend the day with and all in all 2 fish is what we needed to get a couple fist Salmon punched out. What a great day all the way around on the Columbia River!

Senske Salmon Day Sept 20th!

Today proved to be a great day on the Columbia River catching Fall Salmon! Had the Senske Executive team out on the water today and they also proved they could land fish when given the opportunity! The crew went 4 for 5 on their hook ups. The Salmon fishing is getting better and the fish are showing up and wanting to play. Get you trips booked for this great fishery!

Salmon Sunday Sept 17th

As the fish begin their way up river to the spawning grounds of the Reach here at Fishers Catch Outfitters we get to fishing. It was a tough bite today a little slow. Started the day with a nice Fall Chinook in the boat on the second pass. Miles lost a small jack at the boat on the third pass, and we had a couple more rips after that. We fished from 6-noon. It is only going to get better as the fish keep coming and the water continues to cool off 66 degree water today on the Columbia River.
