It was a day on the Columbia River chasing walleye out of Irrigon Oregon with return clients Kurt and the gang. These guys always put fish in the boat!. Today we started the day with a little jigging in some deeper water 60-70 feet of water was our target. We managed to pot a dozen in the boat jigging so we headed down river in search of some pulling worm harnesses. It was a successful day on the water with great people. It was day two for Ryan and the gang from Boise. We spent yesterday looking for some Columbia River walleye eaters in the afternoon and big girls at night it was a fun day. What will day two bring. Ryan and the gang made the travel from Boise Idaho to come hang out with us here at Fishers Catch Outfitters for a couple days in search of some walleye for the fryer and check of some first time sturgeon catches. With the end of November coming near we here at FCO continue to chase winter walleye and put clients on fish. Today we launched out of Irrigon Oregon this morning with a plan to start the day of with jigs and move into trolling some of the deeper channels . What an awesome day on the water chasing Columbia River walleye. We launched out of Irrigon Oregon this morning and ran down river just a bit. Tried and area that we thought would be holding fish, and wouldn't you have it we landed on a few. We started the day jigging 50-70 feet of water and transitioned to trolling worm harnesses in 50-60 feet of water. Robert went home with a nice load of fish for the family. It was a great day on the water chasing Columbia River Walleye with this crew. We went out of Kennewick Washington at 7am and were on fish by 8am. Today we trolled worm harnesses targeting 25-30 feet of water in the morning, moving to 35-40 feet of water in the afternoon. Today was a day of chasing the awesome Columbia River Sturgeon. It was a day of action for sure with lots of fish landed. We are targeting the fish in 30-40 feet of water.
