From the first cast to the last reel-in, the excitement never slowed down. The smiles, laughter, and fish in the boat made for a day they won’t soon forget. It’s always a privilege to watch the next generation fall in love with the outdoors.
Family, Fish & Columbia River Gold 08/10/2025
It was both a family reunion and a fishing adventure for the crew. The guys traveled from all over Oregon to spend time with their dad and make some memories on the water. We launched out of Irrigon, Oregon in search of walleye—and walleye is exactly what we found. The crew had a blast trolling worm harnesses, hauling in Columbia River gold one after another. It was a day full of action, laughter, and plenty of catching for this special family gathering.

By the end of the day, the smiles were as bright as the chrome in the cooler—a perfect summer steelhead trip on the Columbia.
From Boise & the West Side to Walleye Pride 08/08/2025
oday we hit the water with Ken, his stepdaughter, and her husband. They made the trip from the west side of the state and from Boise, Idaho, meeting in the middle for a day of fishing on the Columbia. We launched out of Umatilla, Oregon at 8 a.m. in search of walleye. This was his daughter’s very first fishing trip, and we wasted no time getting her on the bite—first fish landed and plenty more followed. It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughs, and new fishing memories.
Cooler Full of Walleye, Memories Full of Sturgeon 08/03/2025
We launched out of Irrigon, Oregon today with a mission—find some walleye and tangle with a Columbia River sturgeon or two. The day was a complete success. We filled the cooler with a solid haul of walleye, then topped it off in style as everyone on board got to battle and reel in a sturgeon. Smiles, laughter, and bent rods all around—just another fantastic day of fishing on the Columbia.
