Columbia River Sturgeon Fishing 8/10
t was a day of scouting for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team. We need to find some good Sturgeon for tomorrows clients coming in from Idaho. We have been on the walleye grounds the last few days. So goo buddy Ryan jumped on and we set out to find some sturgeon. The day went well and we are lined up for tomorrow clients. Summer Walleye and Columbia River Sturgeon August 8th
Summer walleye is in full swing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team. We are searching the Columbia River for them toothy critters! We have had success pulling bottom bouncers with spinners and slow death hooks. Also trolling crank baits in shallower water has been effective in the mornings The fish are in great shape and healthy after spawn, we are post spawn and the bite is on!. Most coming in at 18"-22" with a few big fish in the mix. We mixed this day up with a little afternoon sturgeon trip, Each of the guys got to have their opportunity at a Columbia river sturgeon. It was a day of fun with this crew. The kids did great reeling in sturgeon that was bigger than them.
