March 10th,  day two of four with the walleye team from Casper Wyoming. Cory, Chris and Lee are in search of walleye not just any walleye but the 30" walleye! It has been good fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team. We are deep into our winter walleye fishing and it has been good. We are in search of the big Columbia River 30" walleye and well tonight was the night we landed 14 quality fish with one of them being a good 30.25" male going little over 12 lbs. Today we started with a day trip pulling cranks for a big hen and ended the day jigging for some eaters. It was a productive first day just no 30" fish today. The bite has been good the last few weeks and we have been putting plenty of eaters in the Les Schwab boat for our clients . Dr. Jackson got in on some of the walleye action this year. We managed to put a few eaters in the boat prior to being blown off the water. Day two with Joe and Lynn from Casper. We had a great day on the Columbia yesterday putting plenty of eater walleye n the Les Schwab boat. Today we set out foe their trophy walleye. We are looking for the infamous 30" walleye today. We fell a little short. We manage to catch 15 nice walleye but none that went 30". All in all another great day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters Crew on the mighty Columbia river. It was the start of a couple days with Joe and Lynn chasing winter walleye. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team kicked of March with a retention sturgeon tip. It was a great trip for the group that joined us today. The fishing was good and the weather was awesome. Plenty of winter sturgeon action here on the Columbia River. We managed to even get them on the fish they were looking for and sent them home with some meat.
