It was a day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and the Slammin' Salmon Guide service crew to put a beating on some walleye. Sam and Tyler have wanted to get out and do some walleye fishing the past year or so. We finally made it happen and went on a walleye hunt. With the flows good and the walleye deep we took to jigging. We were not disappointed with the outcome of the day. Well what did the "legend" want to do on his 15th Birthday, take clients fishing of course. So the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out to put Robbie and Courtney on their first walleye they have ever caught. We stared off looking for them in the deeper water jigging. We did not have to leave the area it produced well. We managed to get them the walleye they wanted for their freezer and do a lot of catch and release fishing for others to enjoy these great tasting fish. It was a day on the Columbia River chasing walleye for Miles and I. We had a last minute cancelation due to COVID-19. So instead of taking the day of and sitting around the house, we took a day off and went fishing. We are sure glad we did because the walleye wanted to play today. We went to an area that has been producing fish this time of year scouting for out trip tomorrow. We did not have to look long before we started hitting fish. With the bite hot and the Columbia producing we managed to put 66 walleye to the boat. We released them all for the clients to beat on tomorrow. Winter walleye is in full swing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. We set out today in search of some deep holding walleye and without fail we located some for the clients. With just a half day to get some walleye in the boat we put a smack down on them jigging 40+ walleye up from the depths. Once we had the walleye the guys needed we set out for some catch and release sturgeon. It started a little slow with the first couple sets, but in not time our third anchor set produced some great catch and release action. It was a walleye and sturgeon day for the crew that joined us today on the water.  We set out in the morning to jig up some walleye for some fresh fish tacos for the crew. I got to hit the water Friday and do a little pre fishing for this day and needless to say I found some nice eater walleye that wanted to play. We managed to jig up a dozen walleye before the  wind decided to put us to pulling cranks. It wasn't a bad thing though as we managed a couple nice fish for the box and a 28" hen for a picture and release.  With 15 walleye in the box we set our sites in some catch and release sturgeon. What a great day on the water for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. Today was the 5th annual Fish'n The Brave event, this is a day of fishing, fun and food for our veterans and active military. We have the opportunity to meet some of the greatest men and women of this great country, They truly know what it means to love your country. Here are some pictures from the event. The Fishers Catch Outfitters Crew had an awesome time fishing salmon this season. Starting with the Sockeye here in town then moving on the Chelan Falls for the summer Run kings, over to Brewster pool for summer Sockeye then back home in September for the Hanford Reach fall run chinook. It was a great season and we finished it with great clients Dave and his son Jacob. It was a cold end but and active one at that. Lost a few today and managed a few today. Had another great day on the Hanford Reach with Chip and crew. It was a cold one so we cut it a little short. Didn't take many pictures either, it would appear. We Started in town so we didn't have the cold ride up the river but that did not produce. So we headed to Ringold where we picked up 3 fish and lost 2. All in all it was a great day and lots of fun had. And Chip didn't chip it, lol.

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew had another cancelation today. We decided to hit the waters in town to see if we could get a fish on the boat for my bride. It was a day of short fishing to beat the wind but none the less we managed to get a couple nice fish in the FCO/Les Schwab boat. It is always a fun day on the water with family. The "Legend" did a great job putting moms fish on the net!
