Fishers Catch Outfitters spent another weekend in Hells Canyon with Hellbent River Charters. This is who you will fish with when you book a steelhead trip with Fishers Catch Outfitters. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew hit the Columbia in search of some Columbia River white Sturgeon. It was a day of fun on the water with some good friends that were in search of a sturgeon. We managed to bring 11 nice fish to the boat with 4 of them being in the retention slot of 43"-54", should be a good retention season this year. We also lost a big one and Miles landed a nice 7'6" river monster. It is time to book your retention sturgeon trips for January and February if you are interested in retaining  one of these fish. If not interested in retention, then catch and release of these awesome fish is all year long so get your seats booked for this awesome fun.    

It was a day of sturgeon fishing this cold foggy day of November. Fishers Catch Outfitters set out for a day of fun sturgeon fishing on the Columbia river. It was a day of firsts for Anthony and Jackie. We managed to get them on 15 nice fighting fish with 3 nice over-sized and 3 in the keeper slot (retention season opens January 1st) Should be a good one. With this being the first day Jackie has ever fished in her life she did awesome and fished like a pro. Setting the hook on some nice fish and fighting them all the way to the Les Schwab sled. It was an awesome day on the water.

Had a great weekend with my great friends with Hell Bent River Charters chasing some Snake River Steelhead. With the weather shaping up nice cold mornings and crisp afternoons we managed to put some great fish to the boat. A total of nine fish were landed with 4 of them being keepers.  Not all the fish we hooked into managed to make it to the net for the release. Some of them managed to get away from us before we could get them in the net. All in all we had another awesome time and are looking forward to the next trip. WOW, what and awesome weekend FISH'N THE BRAVE. We were blessed with the presence of 50 of our countries Veterans and had the opportunity to spend the day on the big Columbia River with them fishing Sturgeon and Walleye. This is and annual event FCO puts together to get some of our Veterans on the water for the day fishing and having fun. It was a great weekend fishing the 6th annual King of the Reach Live Capture Derby. The derby started on Friday, October 26th and ended on Sunday October 28th. With he three boys on the Monte sled we managed to bring in 56 nice adult salmon to the live capture truck. We landed 42 fish on Friday not all were live capture worthy some jacks and some hatchery. Saturday the boys managed to be the top boat in their area with 17 fish brought into the liver capture truck. We finished Sunday with 7 fish and that got the boys 56 total fish and a 4th place over all win between 80 boats and 275 anglers. Miles managed a 2nd place win in the youth anglers. All in all it was a great weekend a great event and 1209 adult wild salmon are now at the hatchery to help in the assistance of continued salmon [...]

It was another day of tough fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters and CED crew on the Columbia River today trying to land fall Chinook Salmon. We managed to put two fish in the boat with a couple other misses. It was a day of long fishing from in town to the top of Ringold. The weather was nice and the people we got to fish with were great. We are looking forward to some more great fishing!!!  

Got to start the day with the first of 6 CED groups set for this seasons fall Salmon run on the Columbia River. With the fishing slowing down in town and not getting any in the net we headed to Ringold to finish up the day and see some sights. We managed to put a couple fish in the boat for the group. All in all a fun day and fun time! We were hoping for limits and it was not because we didn't put in the hours! We wont tell Lance that he lost a nice fish!!! SHHH.......

With the fishing good on the Columbia River here in town, the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled did not have to go far to find a limit of fish with a bonus jack. With returning walleye clients we set out from Richland in search of the Fall Chinook Salmon and needless to say we found a couple great fish.
