Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

The Start of Fall Slamon

Well it is that time once again the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew starts chasing fall Chinook Salmon in the Hanford Reach. We had a chance to get out on the water Sunday evening for a couple hours and managed to put this big hen in the Les Schwab boat. With Miles and Angel on the boat today the rod went off Angel tackled this big girl getting her all the way to the boat, when the fish went for another 200 foot run and she passed the rod off to me. Miles put a great net job on this bruiser and we boated the first Chinook for the season. Back out in the AM to see if we can do it again!! Bent Rods and Tight Lines!!

Night Walleye 8/22

It was another night on the Columbia River for Mile and I in search of some monster night feeding walleye. The night did not disappoint with the actions starting will 11 Small Mouth Bass keeping us entertained while we look for the walleye. We managed to run across a couple nice walleye that we snapped some pictures of and then released to catch another day and grow into the next state record!!

Walleye Night Bite!!

The Fishers Catch Outfitters team headed out to get on some Night Time Walleye bites! The bite proved to be a little slower than expected but the fish we landed were some nice eyes. August 14th walleye

The day proved to be a good day to fish for the great Columbia River walleye. It was a hot day bu we managed to find some quality fish for the clients. It was a day of cranks and jigs. With most of the fish being landed on jigs we found a couple big fish letting them swim to see another day and found some nice fish to send home with them. It was a day of fun on the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled! It is still proving to be a success so get in your walleye fishing before the salmon show up!

Hells Canyon Weekend

The Fishers Catch Outfitters headed to Hells Canyon to have a little Snake River fun with some buddies. We started the trip watch some brave men and women of the fire department fight a fire that started from a cabin going up. Great job fire department it was hot and you prevailed!!  With the weather hot in Tri-Cites we decided to go where it was a little hotter. The Hells Canyon Sturgeon, well at least the big ones did not want to play. We did manage to catch a couple small ones on the big Bloodsworth Boat. The bass were ready to play and Miles had a great time giving them a little exercise! It was a great relaxing weekend and now back to Walleye fishing on the Big Mighty Columbia. Enjoy some great pictures of the trip.

Sturgeon Evening August 5th

While we wait for the Fall Salmon to make their way up the Columbia to the spawning grounds of the Hanford Reach, we head out to wet the lines chasing the mighty white Columbia River Sturgeon. This evening did not disappoint in beauty. The evenings sun set was amazing. We did not manage to find and big sturgeon that wanted to play, but we did get Annette on her very firs sturgeon and here smile and excitement was as beautiful as the sunset.. Be sure to get out and enjoy the outdoors and relax. Bent Rods and Tight lines to all.

Sturgeon / Walleye

With the Brewster trip behind us and the Columbia still calling our name the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab boat hit the water again in search of the Columbia River white Sturgeon. With the weather hot and the flow of the river low, the bite was a little tough. We managed to find 4 nice sturgeon for the clients and put one of them on there very first sturgeon ever. With the sturgeon checked of the list we set out for the great eating Columbia River Walleye and we did not get disappointing. The bit was good on both cranks and Jigs. We managed to get a nice catch and send them home with some great filet's for their fish tacos.
