Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

July 6th Walleye trip

Fishers Catch Outfitters got to spend the afternoon on the water going after some Columbia River walleye with a couple of friends. We started the morning pulling plugs and finished off the day jigging. It was another tough day on the water with the river flows fluctuating, the fish seemed to be moved all over the river system with only ones and two's  in spots. You had to search for them a bit but we got a box of nice eaters taking 14 to stink the grease and letting another 12 go back to play tomorrow. Bent Rods and Tight Lines my Friends.

July 5th and 100 degrees

It was a HOT one on the Columbia River today. The Fishers Catch Outfitters gang got on the water at 11:30 am and off at 4:00 pm, the hot part of the day. With that said not only the weather was hot the Walleye fishing was on too. Mile and I managed to land 20 walleye in a few hours of fishing. The crank and jig bite produce for us well. We need to hit the water to do a little pre-fishing for this weekends trips. If the bite stays like it was today the weekend clients are in for a good time! It always a good time on the Les Schwab boat! Bent Rods and Tight Lines my Friends!

Atomic and FCO Sturgeon Trip

Fishers Catch Outfitters teamed up with Atomic Anglers to help with some awesome Columbia River Sturgeon fishing. It was another successful day on the water wrangling in some monsters. The group wanted to catch a monster sturgeon and that is what we did!! Bent Rods and Tight Lines my Friends!

June 29th Sturgeon Trip

With a nice evening available and hanging out with the neighbors, we decided to hit the water for some fun Sturgeon action! My wife even decided to join in on the fun and landed her first Sturgeon ever. We had a couple first on this trip. It was a short evening trip but we were blessed with some great weather and five  awesome fish! Fishers Catch Outfitters is not booking over-sized sturgeon trips. Give us a call! June 27 Walleye / Shad trip

Fishers Catch Outfitters had an awesome little family to fish with today on the Columbia river. Harper and Charley put plenty of fish on the boat this trip. With every fish that came to the boat a big smile and laughter followed. What a great time on the Columbia today catching Walleye and Shad. Bent Rods and Tight Lined my friends.

Prosser Les Schwab group 6/24

HOT,  day on the Columbia River. Did I mention it was HOT!. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team and the Prosser Les Schwab group set out to fish for some Columbia River Walleye. It was not the day we expected with only getting a few walleye we did manage to have a great time and pick some fish up in new areas. With he Walleye bit being a little slow we got the kids on some Shad to close put the last hour of fishing. Needless to say the Shad action was fast and furious. All in all a Hit fun in the sun day. Bent Rods and Tight Lines my friends!

June 23 Shad / Walleye combo day

With the clients wanting to stock up on the Shad that are running in the Columbia, we set out to do just that. We loaded the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled with 60 plus Shad in the first couple hours of the morning. With that being enough Shad for their stock we decided to go get them each on their first Walleye ever. It was a success we filled a couple coolers with Shad and Walleye for their freezer. Roosevelt Sturgeon June 16th

The Fishers Catch Outfitters Crew took a day and went to fish Lake Roosevelt. This is a fishery I have not fished since I was Miles age. What a fun trip. We left the dock early and managed to find a few bites. We were in search of keeper sturgeon with the slot limit set at 53" - 63" we knew it was going to be tough to find a keeper. The pool level was all but full and the fish seemed to be difficult to find this day. We manage to find an area that produced some nice bites with the first bite of the day producing a nice 53.5" keeper for Miles. The bites kept coming for and hour or so and I managed to lose another fish prior to getting it to the boat. All other bites we quick and we were unable to hook up again. We were blessed with one [...]

June 9th Walleye

It was a slow start for the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab sled. We started fishing in an area we boated 18 nice walleye a couple days prior. With the water coming down 3-4 feet the fish seemed to have moved where they wanted to be. With that the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled ran down the Columbia to find some Walleye. We managed to get on them and get on them good with the clients only wanting to fish for a half day trip we got them their 20 fish and managed to have one awesome day. Bent rod and tight lines my friends!
