Winter walleye is in full swing here at Fishers Catch Outfitters. Today was a day on the water pulling worm harnesses in 25-30 feet of water. We launched out of Kennewick Washington this morning on the Columbia River. We headed down river a few miles to the area of Buoy 30. Targeting 35-45 feet of water pulling bottom bouncers. It was a consistent day of bites, not hot and not slow. The 2 person crew managed to go home with a nice pile of walleye. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Another day for Morgan and and crew on the mighty Columbia catching walleye. We set out of Kennewick in search of some walleye. we located some in the area of channel marker 36-34. After a great day of Sturgeon fishing yesterday with Steve we headed out today with Steve and Ed looking for some walleye to take home. It was a good morning of fishing as we got plenty of eaters and managed to land Eds personal best walleye ads well coming in at 29" and just  over 10 pounds, she was released to go do her thing!  Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Its that time of year when we are winter walleye and catch and release sturgeon fishing. Lots of options here at Fishers Catch Outfitters to get in on some fishing action. Today we spent the day on the water with the Steve from Michigan looking for Columbia River Sturgeon, well as you would thing we found them. Steve has never caught on and was in the area so he decided to book with us here at FCO. Not only did Steve catch his first one he caught his 16th one as well. Back on the walleye ground, after a couple days off chasing sturgeon for clients and the FTB event we hit the water today in search of the walleye we left a few days ago. With the walleye jig bite being slow for us here at FCO right now we set up to troll spinners and worms in search of them walleyes. we were not disappointed today with plenty of quality walleyes hitting the deck and even releasing a few nicer fish. Back to the Columbia River in search of the mighty Columbia River Sturgeon. It was a fun day on the water with the crew from Spokane. They went from never catching a sturgeon to catching many today. Today we took the day off from running clients and cam together with 35 other captains to take out 120 of our countries Veterans. It is the 8th annual FISHN THE BRAVE event. We started this eight years ago with just four veterans and it has continued to grow every year. It is our small way to give back to the folks that gave so much. We are so grateful and thankful for all of their service and sacrifice. A great video will be out soon for everyone to enjoy!

Today was a little tougher day than others . We first started out launching out of Irrigon Oregon in search of some walleye. The fog was thick and we couldn't  see anything so we didn't want to travel down river to far. We decided to load up and head up to Port Kelly where we have been jigging up a few. Jig bite was slower than expected so we went on the search. With the need to locate fish we hit the water with worm harnesses and well we found a few. Here are some picture's from todays adventure.
