Walleye Wednesday April, 18.2018

With the Big Columbia river running strong, dams wide open and the wind settled down. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew hit the water in search of some Walleye. With a couple special guests from her and the down under we got to work in the morning cranking up some nice Walleye. The am bite was good and we stayed on them for a while. Once it slowed up a little we decided to get after them a little deeper with 4W jigs. Jigging the 30-40 of water produced some more nice walleye. We ended the day putting 31 walleye in the box and 2 big smiles on the clients. Be sure to get out fishing!! Bent rods and tight lines!

April 14 Walleye with buddies

Spent last weekend Turkey hunting the youth hunting season. With the rain and wind we ended up not bagging Miles a long beard. So we decided to go fish today with some buddies and try some new water on the Columbia River. The day produced a dozen fish and and one fat bottom girl that we released to go do her thing. The walleye bit is still on and producing fish for all guides and their clients. So be sure to book with your favorite guide or just get on the water in your sled to get into some of the great walleye action on the Columbia River. If you are looking to book a trip we have a few dates available here at Fishers Catch Outfitters, just shoot us a call and we will get you on the water.

April 6 Walleye

With the fog rolling in and making it hard to navigate the waters, the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and 2 clients set out for a day of great Walleye fishing on the Columbia River. The morning seemed to be challenging with not much over 25-40 feet of visibility up until 10:00 am. We did seem to find some walleye and stay on them. We finished the day jigging up a few more and got them a stack of great eating walleye. Fishers Catch Outfitters promotes the release of any Walleye over 24" and we also do our best to only take 10 fish from the system per angler. If you are looking for a great day of fun on the water to relax and catch fish, give us our your local guide a call. Bent Rods and Tight lines!

Good Start to April

Fishers Catch Outfitters had a good day getting Paul, John and Eli on some great walleye fishing. With the water flows changing just a little, the wind staying calm and the overcast day settling in we were on the bite early. The bite was fast and furious in the morning allowing for a coupe double downs and even a solid triple and stayed on until 11 am. We made a couple moves and changed up the delivery a bit and ended up getting 35 nice walleye to the boat for this group. It was a fun time with great people this family was nothing but smiles. Go Get'm sleepy E!

March 31 Walleye

Quick run of fun with John and Eli. We ended up cutting the day short but managed to catch a few before we headed back in. We got them early in the morning on crank baits. The new BRAVE jig also managed to bring in another walleye to the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled. We will be heading back out on Tuesday to make up the day that was short. Stay tuned to see how their day turns out.

March 29 Walleye

Another good day Walleye fishing on the Columbia River with great people. We started the day out pulling crank baits and put a number of fish in the boat early! The young man Wyatt got out to an early lead on all the others with the first fish!! It was a day of Montana against Washington.  With Montana up 1 to 0 the fun began.......It was a short lived lead with the fish working early. Once the bite slowed pulling cranks we went to jigging and landed several more walleye. All in all it was a fun day on the Fishers Catch Outfitter's sled. Montana ended up winning the day with first fish, biggest fish and most fish!! Fun trip with fun people! Here are some pictures of this awesome day

March 25th

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew had the opportunity to spend the day on the water fishing the Hell Canyon River Charters team. Although the fishing was slow and the wind was fats and ferrous we managed to get some walleye in The Les Schwab boat! It was a catch and release day for us and a good time. Fishing seems to be picking up  in areas of the Columbia River so be sure to get a seat with your guide of choice out there! Bent Rods and Tight Lines!

March 18, 2018

Fishers Catch Outfitters teamed up with Aaron and plugged up a few Walleye. It was not the 15-30 fish day but with the focus on just plugging we managed to put 8 nice fish in the boat and sent Aaron home with some great dinner. All in all a day on the water is an awesome day no matter what! Blessed!
