Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

Gold Monday!! Sept. 4th

What an awesome day on the Columbia River chasing Walleye. Monty, Mile and I landed 25 great Columbia River Walleye and had are fair share of chances at an additional 20 or so. With the salmon season just starting we thought we better get out for a Walleye trip to fill the freezer. So we did and it was awesome, the Good Lord blessed us today as he does every day! We all managed to pick up some nicer fish that wanted to play as well, Monty had the pleasure of landing and snapping a picture of his 30.5" beast. Miles started slow but came on strong at the end picking up 5 nice fish in one drift, while Monty and I just ran the next and Les Schwab sled. Fun times with fun people, that is why we do it!

Sept. 2nd Walleye Run

The day started with a lot of action. Miles landed the first Walleye and then he put the second fish on the boat, and that is where the fun started. While getting the second eye out of the net he had the luck of the stinger hook, see picture bellow. One the Hook was removed from his finger we got back to fishing Doug, Miles and I put 23 nice eyes to the boat. It was a good day on the Columbia River once again. Time to let the Walleye have a break and Get after the Fall Salmon!

Senske Day August 30th

Fishers Catch Outfitters and Senske Services spent the day on the Columbia River Chasing the infamous White Sturgeon. The crew from Senske Services wanted to go catch river monster for their team building day. Well we did just that we landed a total of 6 great Sturgeon and on that measured 9'3". The men on the boat each got to take a little time fighting this great fish while the Sturdy Ladies waited for the opportunity to come. Fun crew to fish with, lots of great laughs and even Chuck got a little seas sick........

Duncan Family Fun August 27th

What a fun crew to have on the Fishers Catch Outfitters/ Les Schwab sled today. Got to spend the day with the Duncan's Mike, Jeff, Nick, Parker and their family friend Mike! It was Birthday time for Mike Duncan!!!! We started the day out playing with Dino's  with a successful day of fishing landing 13 fish. Nick got his personal best Sturgeon coming in at 8'7". Once the Bite slowed down we decided to go try our hand a putting some Walleye (Columbia River Gold) in the boat. With a quick hour 1.5 hours of fishing we managed to get 10 nice fish in the box With Mike landing his personal best biggest Walleye. All in all a fun day with great people. The reason we do this!!!! Happy Birthday Mike Duncan.

Dino’s and Gold August 26th

The Columbia River produced once again for the crew of Fishers Catch Outfitters. Spent the day on the water with a couple good guys catching Sturgeon and finishing the day fishing for a little GOLD. Ended the day with 20 Sturgeon to the boat and 8 Walleye. Fun day of running gear and reeling in fish!

Les Schwab Crew August 20th

Fishers Catch Outfitters had another good day with the Richland Les Schwab crew Sturgeon fishing. The crew brought 18 Sturgeon to the boat with the biggest one about 9 feet. Marcus had fun fight two other large fish unfortunately one came un hooked and the other broke off!! Finished the day with a little Walleye fishing and got them some fish for a fish fry. All in all another successful day on the Columbia River fishing White Sturgeon!

Epic Day on the Water August 19th

What an EPIC day for the Fishers Catch Outfitter crew. We got to spend the day on the water with two of the nicest  folks from Arkansas, Dennis and Cindy. Not only did we build new relationships and friendships we landed 30, yes 30 Columbia River White Sturgeon. The bite started about 7:30am and went non stop until 1:30 pm,  needless to say backs were wore out and arms we tired. The Sturgeon ranged from 30 inches to 10 feet. Cindy landed a great sturgeon reaching the 10 foot mark. Enjoy the pictures!

August 6th with Brian’s Boat Accessories!

Fishers Catch Outfitters got to spend the day on the water with one of their Great Sponsors Brian's Boat Accessories. I will mention the anchor that hooks the Les Schwab boat up in these fish catching holes is from the team and Brian's. If you are in the market for and awesome anchor then look these guys up! We started the day on Sturgeon, it proved to be a little slow with the warmer water temps. So we moved to gett'n after the Columbia River Walleye. we struck gold with these bad boys. The crew from Brian's Boats went home with some good eats and lots of great memories. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME!

August 5th with Richland Rod and Gun Club

With the bite a little tougher than the past couple weeks we managed to scratch out a few Sturgeon for the crew from the Richland Rod and Gun Club. With the water temps creeping up an additional 3.5 degrees the fish seemed to have gotten lazy and not interested in feeding. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew picked up a decent 8 footer early and the rest of the day proved to only get shorts to the Les Schwab boat.  All in all we had a great day on the water fishing, catching and getting to know New friends!! I must give a shout out to Brandon Whitford, he is going to be one of  "THE FEW THE PROUD THE MARINES"!!!! Thank you in advance for your service Brandon! It is because of what you do,  that we get to do what we do! God Bless Buddy!! Take the time to tell out service men and woman, [...]
